As I sat on my futon, relaxing after a hard (right) day's work, I couldn't help but chuckle to myself as CNN's "Breaking News" jingle started ringing on my flat screen.
Malicious Worm Virus Attacks Woldwide
"The Situation Room" had to continue airing past when it was supposed to go off the air because "Lou Dobbs Tonight," which is broadcast from New York, had lost all of its computer use to the bug and could not air.
I typed away at my own computer, downloaded some unsecured files and visited some dubious sites, all the while unconcerned about my safety, not having to close any pop-up windows, and not sorting through endless loads of spam emails.
I think that Darwin was right when he talked about "Survival of the Fittest." If you were stupid enough to invest in a machine that breaks regularly, is constantly open to attack, and takes more time to get to work properly than you end up getting in use, maybe you deserve to have the latest Microsoft virus disable your PC.
I wonder what will happen if the Mac gods (i.e. the important business people) get a hold of this brilliant advertisement.

p.s. My SONY is running quite brilliantly at the moment. :) Thanks for looking out for me, though.
p.s.s Do you miss me yet?

I'm not a technocrat but I do do a lot of blogging and I'm trying to get into working with video blogging and I also like to listen to latin music on the net.....and I also like to play certain games. All of which is to comment that I just got through buying a new HP 7160 media center PC about 2 weeks ago and every damm time I turn around it going whacky on me and not letting me get somewhere I used to go all the time on my old computer, or not recognizing a site I used to enter all the time...just acting plain dumb ass. All of which brings to mind somethingI think I heard somebody say about Mac's once....'they just work'. I'm thinking there might very well be a Mac in my future.
